They Are Coming For Your Job

Get ready, they are coming for your job and your family’s financial security. By the

time you get this article, it may already be too late. They have said they wanted to

privatize the Postal Service before, so why didn’t we believe them? Well, you

better get ready to fight back or lose your job. They have already fired FAA

employees, TSA employees, Forestry employees, IRS employees and department

of education employees. We are next on their list.

We all need to call and write to our representatives today and every day to tell them

to stop destroying the Postal Service as well as Medicare and Social Security.

Postal workers have always been here for the citizens of this country during fires,

floods, earthquakes and the worldwide COVID pandemic. Postal employees were

considered essential workers during COVID and now they see us as disposable

employees. Stand up and tell your representatives that we are still essential

employees and the Postal Service is essential to America!

Watch how your representatives vote and go to their town hall meetings and call

them out. Let your community know that their representative voted against their

interest by destroying the Postal Service, gutting Medicare and killing Social

Security. As postal employees, we rely upon Medicare and Social Security when

we retire. Without social security, FERS postal employees will retire into poverty.

It’s our money! We have paid into social security all our working life. It is not an

entitlement, we earned it!

No more sitting on the side lines and letting the Union fight the battles alone. We

all need to act now to save our jobs, save our families financial security, and the

Postal Service for the people of our country. The ball is in your court, what you

choose to do today will have a major effect on the Postal Service and all postal

employees! Don’t let history show we were the generation that failed to stand up

and fight to save the Postal Service and protect the working class in our country.

We are in trying times and our democracy is being challenged. We all need to stand

up, speak out and fight to keep our democracy before it’s too late. History has

shown that democracy is not a guarantee. Throughout history, other democracies

have fallen and we could be next.
